Twisted Automotive founder and managing director Charles Fawcett has been highly commended for his work at this year’s regional Institute of Directors Awards.
Fawcett was nominated in the Innovation category for Director of the Year in the Yorkshire and North East region.
He was presented with his award at the awards ceremony which took place last Thursday (5 July) The Principal, York, hosted by BBC news’ business and affairs correspondent Danni Hewson.
The award recognises Fawcett’s work in developing Twisted into an industry-leading automotive aftermarket brand, overseeing significant growth and evolution throughout the company’s 17-year history, particularly over the past 12 months.
Speaking about his award win, Fawcett said: “It is a real honour to have received this commendation on behalf of the IoD, in what was a tough category with many worthy contenders. It’s a reflection of the entire Twisted team’s work during the last year. We strive to keep innovating to provide our customers with the very best – whether it’s our products or our customer service.”
Chair of the judging panel, Simon Walton spoke of the ‘excellent standard’ of entries this year which makes Fawcett’s achievement even more commendable!
