The introduction of the Classic Twisted Series II is a celebration to mark the end of Defender production. After high demand for the Classic Series I, Twisted have made changes to mirror movements of the original manufacturer when production of the first Series II began in 1958. Taking inspiration, Twisted are celebrating this milestone by presenting a subtle nod to its predecessor. Series II was built throughout 2018 and further specification is available through our additional upgrades process.
A Havana V8 110 Utility. Quite possibly one or the rarest builds to leave the workshop here in Yorkshire. Our final batch released in January includes not one Havana build which highlights the demand for this colour. This specific build was created in 2016 and includes our performance enhancing 6.2L Corvette Engine, front and rear Alcon Brakes and an interior boasting comfort while being sure to remain practical. 18″ Classic Twisted wheels and a stage one front end with LED headlights complete the stunning external look of this 5-seat configuration 110 Utility Wagon.
Fresh onto the Twisted forecourt, comes this low mileage, Fuji White 110. Powered by a GM LS3 V8 petrol engine, with a 6-speed auto box, this 110 is an incredibly high spec’d Twisted build. Built in April 2017 as part of the Classic Series, this black 110 has experienced quite a journey! Soon after it left the workshop ramp, build No.6 headed out to the Norweigan Fjords to take part in the Atlantic Road Trip. A convoy organised by Vikings meant the Twisted was positioned amongst a whole host of super car partners… and not once did it get left behind. Turing heads as much as the Diablo it followed, the Defender took all the difficult mountainous roads in its stride and came into it’s own on the off road section. On the specifics, this build initially was re-engineered to exact level we at Twisted felt the Defender required. A large proportion of this build isn’t visible when glancing at the exterior, as the suspension and engine upgrades are contributors to the enhanced drivability of this one-off Classic Twisted. Since the event, the 110 returned to our base here in Yorkshire for some TLC acting as a demonstrator, educating interested parties in how a Twisted Defender really drives. As we come to say goodbye to a special and well traveled build, this is a chance to own a pre-owned Twisted not quite like your typical ‘second hand vehicle’.
